Round Tables of Mysore - MRT-21, Heritage-109 and Amity 156 - jointly honoured two teachers by presenting them “Freedom Through Education Awards” in Mysore on January 25. Ms. L.K. Prema, Head Mistress of Government Higher Primary School, Mandakalli, Mysore and Ms. Vani Venkataraman of BDR Trust, were honoured with the awards, when the Round Tables celebrated Freedom Through Education Awards Day.

The Day was celebrated to recognize, appreciate the efforts and contribution to primary education. Round Table India has a mission to educate one million children. Freedom through education is a long term national project of the Round Table. Mr. V.Siddarthachary, former Indian envoy and educationist, who was the chief guest, presented the awards to the two primary school teachers. Mr. Fazal-ur-Rahaman, Chairman, Area VI of Round Table India was the chief guest.
