While Mysore is being sprused up and programmes are being chalked out for the ensuing Dasara celebrations, authorities have announced that the colourful illumination of the world-famous Brindavan Gardens in Krishnarajasagar (KRS), about 18 kms from Mysore, will be for longer duration between October 21 and 25.

In view of the festival season, the timings of illumination have been revised from October 1 and the gardens will be open throughout the week as follows:

Monday to Friday: 6-30 p.m. to 7-25 p.m.

Saturday & Sunday: 6-30 p.m. to 8-25 p.m.

October 21 to 25: 6-30 p.m. to 9-30 p.m.
